Short Paperwork
At your First Visit to our office, we’ll have some short paperwork for you to fill out. Providing us with information about yourself and your condition.
Consult
Each new patient will consult with Dr. Brewer or a designated staff member to discuss your health-related problems, matters of relevance and potential treatment options.
History and Examination
In order to determine your actual condition, Dr. Brewer and or designated staff member will ask related questions to your circumstance. Specialized tests may be performed to determine what exactly is affected and to what extent.
X-rays
You may require x-rays ruling out more serious conditions or developing the most effective treatment plan for you.
First Treatment
With your examination and answers to relative questions and all appropriate tests, patients will in most cases be provided with their first treatment during their First Visit. Possibly including spinal adjustments, physical medicine modalities and/or therapeutic procedures.
Home Instructions
Most patients are given instructions on certain activities or procedures to be managed at home. and or work. Included may be ice or heat application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home and work exercises and/or stretches.
Schedule Next Appointment
Prior to leaving our office on your first visit a convenient appointment time for your follow-up visit will be made. Generally, patients are seen within 1-2 days and are provided with a complete review. Treatment options may be discussed during this time.
